James Otto Heiting, President 2005-2006
The Board of Governors runs the California State Bar, which oversees over 220,000 attorneys in California. Elected for a three-year term in November of 2002, managing partner James Heiting represented District Six (San Bernardino, Riverside San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura Counties), before being elected President of the State Bar of California.
